The online tool: ezgif.com is pretty good for short gifs and maybe even videos in some cases. When it comes to free video editing software it gets a bit tricky imo. Most of them are not particulary designed around making meme clips. I don't think the gif export is very good out of Live2D, so I usually export a high quality transparent mov and use ezgif to convert it to gif. Source: 10 months ago
GIF conversion with ezgif.com (Clipchamp had GIF export, but terrible fps). Source: 10 months ago
I copied the GIF from https://leetify.com/csgo-spray-patterns and used https://ezgif.com/ to rotate it. You can also create multiple notes with different patterns and switch between them at the start of rounds. You'll need to pin the notes overlay and change the opacity, to match I used the recoil master map with nospread to get the scaling right. Source: 10 months ago
The site I used to create the Gifs: https://ezgif.com. Source: 10 months ago

I've explained this in a long comment I left in this thread. I recorded footages of the game, trimmed them down, and used ezgif.com to make GIFs from the video files. I then imported the GIFs onto the Google slides. I'd say ezgif is the best tool you can find out there for free. Extremely convenient to use. Source: 11 months ago

This is a great approach, but I also like the online ezgif tool as backup for when the results I get from simple ffmpeg commands look bad and I don't want to deal with it, it's great for assembling gifs from an image series. Source: 12 months ago

Hi, I'm looking for a lightweight software that can convert an arbitrary area of a video to a high-resolution gif. Basically, I want the crop video + convert to gif functionality of this site, but it must be entirely offline, not uploading the video to a server or anything. Source: about 1 year ago
