No but do you know much about Dungeons and Dragons? https://dnd.wizards.com/. Source: about 2 years ago
Their "official response" isn't actually very official at all. First, they published it on the Dnd Beyond website instead of of dnd.wizards.com which is the main website for all DnD related info and releases. This is clearly an attempt to hide the OGL scandal from people who have not been made aware of what's going on. Source: about 2 years ago
Why can't I buy accessories and decorations for my gaming table from dnd.wizards.com, why do I have to order my medieval mugs/pints/chalices from Amazon? Why aren't there props for the gaming table available like official metallic D&D coins in a pouch, stylized candles (LED), D&D tablecloths, gems connected to thematic things in the universe etc? Why do I have to scour Amazon for all of this as a DM? Source: about 2 years ago
Over at wizards, it's an easy direction. Go to dnd.wizards.com - under gameplay click basic rules. There's the link to the free pdf. Source: about 2 years ago
I was thinking about making a fantasy world, maybe something similar to Dungeons & Dragons or Pathfinder, where one of the major empires has a state atheist ideology. Think like the Imperial Truth from Warhammer 40,000. Now, as far as I know, atheism has been around at least since recorded history. For example, in ancient Greece, there was Diagoras of Melos (circa 5th century BC), Prodicus (465 BC – c. 395 BC) and... Source: about 2 years ago
There are interviews with each of the creators. Search "writer interview [adventure name]" and you'll find them on dnd.wizards.com. Gives more background. Also there's a supplement called "Journeys beyond the radiant citadel" which gives more info on some of the civilisations. Source: about 2 years ago
Also, can you actually LOOK at that website? Because I'm not, in fact, able to find any example adventure on https://dnd.wizards.com/ without help of google and only Unsure Footing: Introductory Mini-Adventure with, and it's not clear if that one is actually DnD 5, and it explicitly says you need to purchase next part. And maybe you have purely physical games, without any digital tools on your tabletop at all. Maybe that's the reason you didn't see that dnd beyond is the one-stop-shop through which the game arrives on people's screens. It certainly can't be bought in paper or pixels on dnd.wizards.com! Maybe go to that link you gave and look in the upper corner, right next to store locator is a link to dnd beyond. Maybe don't... Source: over 2 years ago

The public statements of the D&D team, or anyone else at Wizards of the Coast, are not official rulings; they are advice. The tweets of Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford), the game’s principal rules designer, are sometimes a preview of rulings that will appear here. Source: almost 3 years ago
Anyway, do you want to play in or run a game that's likely going to cost a lot of money, take a lot of time, and thus, likely have less people interested in investing the time and/or money required to play it? Or do you want to download a free indie game image and clown around with a random assortment of lunatics for a night? Hell, you can play that second game by yourself if you wanted.
