  What do you mean it's dead? Go to the github page and scroll down to the Mac section. It's unsupported but they still offer downloads. You need to follow the instructions tho, since they don't have signed binaries. Source: over 1 year ago

  And as a side comment if you aren’t committed to ePSXe, the community now recommends Duckstation as a more modern easy to use PSX standalone emulator. EPSXe is old and doesn’t get updated anymore. Duckstation may just solve the issue without messing with other settings. Source: over 2 years ago
