It's generally recommended to download DDLC from ddlc.moe , not Steam. Source: 6 months ago
(this game was downloaded from the website, and not Steam). Source: 6 months ago
So as a result, I'm playing mods. I don't really know some awesome mods I could play, but I'm trying out EMR. I'm trying to do exactly what the mod creator tells me. Download DDLC from ddlc.moe, download the file, and drag the files into the original DDLC file. I'm confused, because It literally denies me to drag and drop. It just won't let me. And before you ask, I have no experience with any type of computers... Source: 7 months ago
(Just skip this ahead since most will already have done this) Download the base game at http://ddlc.moe. Source: 8 months ago
Acquire a fresh copy of DDLC (preferably from https://ddlc.moe as steam likely won't work). Source: 8 months ago
Like every mod, download DDLC from ddlc.moe, get the mod content and apply it into the game's folder after you extracted the ddlc archive. Source: 8 months ago
Download a fresh copy of DDLC from ddlc.moe and make a folder, name it however you wish, and then extract the files from ddlc-win.zip into that folder. Source: 9 months ago
Now, since I'm new, I don't know if its all related(I download version 1.1.1, directly from ddlc.moe). Source: 9 months ago
Well, you can find the download here or on the mod's official Twitter. The installation process is the same as the rest of the mods: pick up the mod files and put on the original game files (always recommend the ddlc.moe version, not the Steam one). Source: 10 months ago
I recommend getting DDLC files from ddlc.moe and installing the mod on top of those files. Source: 11 months ago
Instead, go to ddlc.moe and download a copy of DDLC (note: not DDLC+. MAS is incompatible with DDLC+), then head to monikaafterstory.com to get MAS. Source: 11 months ago
Assuming you deted the firstrun file, installed the mod by copying its game files into the DDLC game folder, and trying to launch it, only to be in the og game, then yes, you probably need to have the game completed for it to work. I would recommend getting a fresh copy of DDLC from here, playing through it again (just go into settings> turn on skip unseen text) then installing the mod again and see if that works. For me, I just create a folder on my desktop and make other folders in it for different mods. You can do this multiple times by copying and pasting the files from ddlc.moe into each file (name the files in your folder the name of the mod you installed) As for mods, I'm not really sure since I only really play the horror ones.. I'm using Steam and the one displayed on ddlc.moe/ or however it is typed. Source: 12 months ago
It's not a movie (being a visual novel instead), and while it is horror it is more psychological horror than traditional horror, but I suspect that Doki Doki Literature Club will otherwise meet your criteria. Source: 12 months ago
You're probably going to need a new install. Download a new copy of DDLC from ddlc.moe, then get MAS from monikaafterstory.com. Don't worry, your progress with Monika will be intact, as that's saved somewhere else entirely. Though, you will need to reinstall any submods/spritepacks if you want to keep access to them. As others have said, you should install into a fresh copy of DDLC from ddlc.moe not Steam. Here's a general mod installation guide that goes over how to identify and install the two main types of DDLC mods. Source: almost 1 year ago
I actually just downloaded this mod yesterday lol, did you have a mod already installed in the steam folder? Just re-check and see if there's any extra files in there. But you really should download a fresh copy from ddlc.moe, and then you can install more mods in the future! Source: almost 1 year ago
I use ddlc from ddlc.moe , but thank you for trying to help! Source: about 1 year ago
Okay, I can see you have the Steam version, but I recommend you download the ddlc.moe version, just like the Steam version, it's free, and you have the ability to have as many mods as possible without having to delete your DDLC directory from the Steam version and it's also quicker as you don't need to wait for the Steam launcher to load, also, try deleting those files from the directory of MAS. Like I said before, this is an "experimental" mod for me, to test out the waters and well provide something back to the community! I hope you can take some enjoyment out of this and provide me with valuable feedback so that I can take into consideration in the future! HOW TO INSTALL (PC): 1. Download a fresh copy of DDLC from https://ddlc.moe/ . DO NOT USE STEAM. 2. Download WTTAC from the PC link found... Source: about 1 year ago
