Versatility
Metaplugin allows users to load and combine multiple VST, AU, and AAX plugins within a single interface, providing flexibility in designing complex audio processing chains.
Cross-platform Compatibility
Supports major audio plugin formats and is compatible with Windows and macOS, making it suitable for use in a variety of digital audio workstations (DAWs).
Routing Flexibility
Offers advanced routing capabilities, enabling users to create complex signal paths and customize the processing chain to meet specific audio production needs.
CPU Efficiency
Designed to optimize CPU usage by offloading processing, allowing for more efficient use of system resources when using multiple plugins.
Multiple Instances
Users can load multiple instances of the same plugin, providing the ability to manage complex chains without limitations on plugin instances.
Another solution might be to use a plugin that can host multiple other plugins like DDMF Metaplugin or Plogue Bidule or Blue Cat's Patchwork and create your own chain with your favorite plugins. Source: over 1 year ago
Check out: Vienna Ensemble Pro, pretty well known OR Metaplugin is also excellent. Source: almost 2 years ago

Metaplugin is great, but limited for what it is (32/64 bridging + plugin chains + oversampling), and the plugin browser is a steaming pile of garbage. REAPER has functionally better routing, if less pretty, and a decent browser. Had I been on another DAW, I'd probably be interested. Source: about 2 years ago
There are plugins like metaplugin or superplugin from DDMF that allow you to load plugins (VST, VST3 & AU [AU is Mac only]) within them, but I think you will find this to be a hassle. Source: over 2 years ago
You can try Metaplugin by DDMF then. Read this: https://ddmf.eu/metaplugin-chainer-vst-au-rtas-aax-wrapper/. Source: over 3 years ago
Pro Tools cannot run VST plugins natively. You need to install the AAX version (if the plugin has one) or use a VST wrapper like DDMF metaplugin. Source: over 3 years ago
