Never saw anything of the sort on Current Finance's website. Source: 12 months ago
We opened my son up a checking account at a local bank branch a few weeks ago to be able to deposit money into it to transfer to Wealthfront. We originally set him up with a Current account that he has been using since last year, but his Current account couldn't be connected to Wealthfront to transfer money into Wealthfront. By opening the local bank branch checking account he was able to transfer money from... Source: about 1 year ago
(Usually when I read about adverse action, it's about credit. But this link makes it sound like it's broader than that. My account with Current.com didn't have anything to do with credit, other than maybe overdraft protection.). Source: over 1 year ago
Had anyone checked out Current Bank? I just signed up with them. I’m planning to use whoever I switch to with DAS Budget. Current. Source: over 1 year ago
Surprised nobody’s mentioned Current (https://current.com/). Their savings accounts earn 4% APY on a maximum of $6,000 (split over 3 $2,000 “pods”). I’ve had $6k in there for a few months now, and no complaints. I’m assuming referral links are frowned upon in this sub, but PM me if you want one - it’s one of those “$50 for you, $50 for me” deals. If I wasn't doing that I'd probably be using Current, One or Yotta. Source: almost 2 years ago
If you don't mind something that's very smartphone app centric, check out Current Teen Banking (https://current.com/benefits/teen-banking/). No fees and they will send her a debit card in her name. The account will have a routing and account number so she can have paychecks direct deposited. Source: almost 2 years ago

I recently moved some cash into Current (https://current.com/) and would like it tracked in Mint. However, I'm unable to do so. I've had some back and forth with Current and am waiting to hear back on my latest message, but curious if anyone else has done this successfully? Source: almost 2 years ago
This, and the bottom disclaimer is clear they aren't. Their selling feature is 4% interest on up to $2000 and – taking the fee into account – up to 3% on $6000. However, there is enough bullshit around actually getting that money out that I'm not sure it's worth it. Source: about 2 years ago
Let me introduce you to Current. This is a real world, commercial bank: https://current.com/. Source: over 2 years ago
Why moonbeam over Acala? I think Acala’s tokenomics are pretty shitty, but I think their team has done a good job explaining their product - the #1 thing that sold me is their intent to partner with current creating what they call hybrid finance (hyfi). Seems innovative to me. Source: over 2 years ago
I think you will need either a tradfi or hyfi (see Acala) approach. Why? Early adopters are willing to put up with all the steps necessary to engage in the space. But most mom and pop types are going to need a front end they’re familiar with before they get in the space. Imagine if Bank of America (or any major bank really) had an option on their savings account dashboard that said “hey customer - instead of... Source: almost 3 years ago
