• Podcasts similar to 99PI?

  I think Criminal is pretty similar in approach. It's the only 'true crime' type podcast I thoroughly enjoy, because it's not about gloating voyeurism, but about examining the quirks of humanity through the lens of crime. • Trouble Accessing “Criminal” Podcast

  Both the Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music apps give me an error like “episode unavailable” when I try to play any episode of the Criminal podcast. Every other podcast I’ve tried on both apps seems to be fine. Anyone else getting this error? Source: almost 2 years ago

  In my case, with Euro or American Truck Simulator, I prefer simpler controls because I don't want to learn everything, I just want something to do while listening to a podcast. Hell, I've listened to youtube essays while playing games. Source: almost 2 years ago

  I am a kind of story-listening person and hence, mostly like non-discussion-based podcasts. Some of my favorite podcast shows belong to Parcast Network, Hidden Brain, Vox: Unexplainable, Anthropocene reviewed by john green(also has a book of the same name), lex Fridman podcast(discussion/interview-based), myths and legends, criminal, etc. There are many more.   OP, professional broadcasters can also be among the most articulate speakers, thought it's a different style to public speaking. Two of my favourite podcast voices are Roman Mars from 99% Invisible and Phoebe Judge from Criminal, I highly recommend listening to them. Source: over 2 years ago

  Check out Criminal. Without a doubt, it is a benchmark for how these should be done. It has an almost "This American Life" flow to the podcast, and Phoebe Judge has great pacing and vocal fry. She also interviews folks who were involved/around for each podcast. Source: over 2 years ago
