So, many people say that when you insert a Cricket SIM card to a BYOD phone Cricket may lock it for 6 months. Sounds like a BS to me, but everything is possible in our country when it comes to network operators. However, the instructions are just that I need to re-register, I don't *have* to click the link in the email to do it. I went to cricketwireless.com directly to complete the process and it did allow me to create a new login. So it seems this email is truly from Cricket, it's just messy, as so much of their customer service is. Source: over 2 years ago
