Yes. There are a lot of them, and they are popular in Utah, and the Dominican Republic. Its for parents who think their kids is out of control because they take drugs, or hang around the wrong people, or don't want to go to church, or date the wrong person, or aren't getting good enough grades, or are manifesting behaviour because of trauma, or come out as gay (this is a common one, they are usually religious... I really had no idea how bad the suicide stat was until cracked.com brought it up years ago (when it was good). It was somethign like nearly half or more gun deaths were straight suicides. Source: about 3 years ago
Like why would I want to watch Breaking Bad or any serious drama when I already lived serious drama all through childhood? Jokes and silliness or I turn it off. Firefly or House MD are about my limit for serious entertainment. And my favorite news channel is one of those old cracked.com comedy writers on YouTube. Source: about 3 years ago
The rotting thing is a point ignored by almost all zombie medium. Of course, getting around the initial "dead thing can walk" is a pretty big leap in itself. There's a hilarious article (or there used to be at least) on cracked.com named something like "10 Reasons a Zombie Apocalypse Would Fail (quickly)" and rotting was reason #1 or 2. Best line from the whole article though was "We (humans) are a zombie's... Source: about 3 years ago
As cracked.com put it "It's Bear Grylls and a legitimate psychic as 12-year olds.". Source: about 3 years ago
I once signed up late for college classes and got stuck in whatever had room, including "Women in American History." Add on a bunch of old cracked.com articles and some CGP Grey videos from YouTube, plus that Howard Zinn textbook, and suddenly it's a story that makes terrible icky sense instead of just being a bunch of random events done by men in fancy hats. Wow Soren and Daniel from cracked.com have a podcast? I'll put it on my list. Source: about 3 years ago
Thank you for commenting this. The cracked.com fan theory shit is extremely corny. Source: over 3 years ago
I first heard about it while reading funny/educational articles on cracked.com like a decade ago. Turns out there were a lot of well-documented old timey conspiracies, and the worse they were the less likely anyone got punished. Source: over 3 years ago
YEP! Love to see the peak college humor and cracked.com writers/performers move on to great things! Source: over 3 years ago
Here is a cracked.com article I had posted before - https://www.cracked.com/article_32034_the-dubious-evolution-of-jimmy-kimmel-and-howard-stern.html. Source: over 3 years ago
YES!!! I caught that one. Man I miss the old cracked.com. Life is a little worse without it. Source: over 3 years ago
Mostly these websites are outdated and some of them might try to have me automatically download things I don't want to download. Is there a safe mode or some kind of quarantine switch that I can turn on? Most of them aren't https because the people making the websites are even less tech-savvy than I am. Some of the websites are "noisy" and have a lot of pop-ups and things going on, sort of like cracked.com or... Source: over 3 years ago
People spent too much time reading cracked.com and decided that consuming pop culture required analyzing it in a way that indicates that you don't understand that it's fictional. Source: over 3 years ago
And the cracked.com article is absolute trash. Source: over 3 years ago
You gotta figure out how to get him to have the aha moment where he connects these feelings to his behavior. I wish I had good advice. I read a cracked.com article about it over a decade ago, and that's how I was able to change my attitude about money, but that's sort of an irrelevant platform. Source: over 3 years ago
A great article on cracked.com (if it's still up) is "Why a Zombie Apocalypse would fail- quickly). It's a hilarious read but #1 is humans. My favorite line is: "A zombie's only source of food and reproduction is also it's most dangerous predator. That would be like having to fight a lion every time you wanted to make a sandwich or have sex.". Source: over 3 years ago
I remember my first disillusion with cracked.com when someone argued that the macahuitl worked essentially as a chainsaw and you could cut a horse's head off with it. Source: over 3 years ago
Cracked.com and instructables.com are great. Source: over 3 years ago
There's definitely an evolution of the storytelling and writing as you read the books - it's kinda Eldritch Scooby Doo Gang on Acid with a shake of cracked.com and dick humor in there - but it's absolutely one of my favorite series. They're pretty readable - 400-500 pages each - enough to keep you enthralled, but not too long to overwhelm you. I think you should give them a shot. I'll never forget the first time I...
