Mark Cuban has an online pharmacy that is supposed to be very cheap. Obviously not for everyone. Source: over 1 year ago
I'm not posting this to r/medicare because if you get medications at online pharmacies, it's usually because they're not covered under Medicare C or D. I've tried Mark Cuban's costplusdrugs.com which for me was a waste of time. Do you buy from a Canadian mail order house, or are you just using GoodRx? Is there a reason you chose the one you use? Do you worry about where the drugs are made and whether there are... Source: over 1 year ago
Phone bill - If you haven't already, look at prepaid, it is significantly less than a plan. If you get SNAP, you should also be eligible for monthly help with your phone and internet costs. Also sign up for the Lifeline government program, which can help pay your phone and... Source: over 1 year ago
If it's a non-stimulant like Strattera, I would recommend checking on CostPlusDrugs. They have Strattera for as low as $9.20 a month and Wellbutrin for $6.80 with a flat $5 shipping rate for all orders. It's a mail order pharmacy, and you can request refills online so long as they're already approved by your provider. Unfortunately, they don't do controlled substances (so no Ritalin, Adderall, concerta, etc),... Source: over 1 year ago
Send it over to https://costplusdrugs.com/ they don't take insurance, because insurance companies have the power to change the cost of your drugs making them more expensive than your co-pay. Source: over 1 year ago
Are you in the US? If so, look at goodrx coupons online and the Walmart $4 prescription plan. There’s also this, which I’m not familiar with: https://costplusdrugs.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
Not sure how soon you need it, but if he has a prescription, medication is very reasonable on Mark Cuban's start-up: https://costplusdrugs.com. Source: almost 2 years ago
So many places seem to be doing worse on the customer relation side of things. If you’re based in the US you can maybe see if your meds can be sent to the Cost Plus Drug Company. They’re an online only resource and even if you don’t have insurance, if your medicine is available through them it’s often a lot more affordable. I place my order when they get the next prescription from my doctor then they ship it out... Source: almost 2 years ago
They send your scripts to whichever pharmacy you want, even your insurance’s online pharmacy. They also work with Cost Plus https://costplusdrugs.com/ if they carry the medications. Source: almost 2 years ago
I checked costplusdrugs.com and it doesn't look like it is available there unfortunately. Source: almost 2 years ago
Https://costplusdrugs.com/ this is useful for anyone who needs cheaper medicinal drugs. Source: almost 2 years ago
GoodRx all the way (or costplusdrugs.com, if they have the specific meds). Walgreens wanted to charge me $240 (with insurance) for a generic topical corticosteroid. With GoodRx, it was about $25 at Walmart. Source: almost 2 years ago
Https://costplusdrugs.com/ also has discount RX drugs. They don’t do Insulin but any other areas you are getting drugs for may be on here and saving money on those Can help pay for other items! Source: almost 2 years ago
Cost Plus Drugs (https://costplusdrugs.com/) buys directly from drug manufacturers and sells direct to consumers WITHOUT going through insurance. You pay them directly online and they ship you the drugs. They make a profit by charging a 15% markup. Depending on your co-pay, this could be a lot less than what your insurance is charging. Your provider still sends them your prescription. Source: almost 2 years ago
Not sure if you already know but it's worth checking with https://costplusdrugs.com to see if your medication is available there. Source: almost 2 years ago
The other upside is that my scripts are sent to whichever pharmacy I want, even my insurance’s mail order pharmacy. But I usually use https://costplusdrugs.com for generics since it’s so incredibly inexpensive. Source: almost 2 years ago
If you haven’t, take a look at Mark Cubans https://costplusdrugs.com/. Source: almost 2 years ago
Adding to what the others have said here about getting in to a doctor to get a prescription- see what the brand is and check out https://costplusdrugs.com/ for the lowest priced medications delivered to your address. Source: almost 2 years ago
And if you’re using generics, https://costplusdrugs.com is far & away the least expensive place to get your Rx filled. GoodRx is good too but you need to price shop every time to make sure you’re paying a fair price. Source: almost 2 years ago
Check out costplusdrugs.com, they sell medications at something like 15% about cost plus shipping. They don't take insurance and need a valid prescription. For me with insurance, they have been cheaper than going to local pharmacies. Source: almost 2 years ago
