ZoomItFaster than others I tried, and Daniel (the owner) is very responsive. We get to talk to a human being for a change if we need support. Highly recommended.

On Windows you can use the built-in magnifier program to zoom into the screen or use ZoomIt. I constantly zoom in and out for plugins. Or if you have the space, get a second 1080p monitor and drag windows into it when you want them to be bigger. Source: over 1 year ago

In addition to all the suggestions others have had around mac products, you may also be able to get your feet wet with some virtual cloud-based max solutions. MacinCloud and XcodeClub are both fairly inexpensive. There’s also MacStadium, but they’re quite a bit more expensive.
