Pinterest is a treasure trove of ideas that never fails to spark my imagination. The user interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making navigation a breeze. I love how easy it is to create and organize boards, helping me keep my ideas neatly categorized. For me it's the risk of littering in a project repo. So I use Zim wiki instead: https://zim-wiki.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 24 days ago
I'll slightly modify your argument; because Pure HTML does suck: Why don't people make static sites with a simple "Markdown-or-Similar to HTML" converter, CSS, and vanilla JS...etc? (This is what I do, btw -- http://zim-wiki.org + a template). - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
You should add Zim [1] to the "Personal Knowledge Management" section :) [1] https://zim-wiki.org. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
Https://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/s5/ And I just tweaked the CSS and added a bit of logic to included the possibility of one image per slide; as well as editing slides not with raw HTML but with https://zim-wiki.org (because that's what I'm really used to, I'm sure any Markdown thing would work just as well). - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
Absolutely; recently I realize I wish I'd never learned vim. I use too many other programs that are at least CUA-ish ( http://zim-wiki.org is the most important app I use ) and now I kind of want out. I haven't yet tried Modeless Vim, but that looks like my next experiment. https://github.com/SebastianMuskalla/ModelessVim. - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago

- If you ever struggle to find good art for your D&D character, go to websites like artstation.com and pinterest.com and just type in core aspects of your character for good inspiration. Like if you type "Tiefling Artificer" into artstation's search bar, you'll find a ton of great art for your character. Obviously if you make any content with someone else's character art, ask for permission and credit them though. Source: 7 months ago
I was about to type pinterest.com and asked him, "please show me what image do you want me to associate you with" and before the page charged my brain went "3rd picture" and it was that <3. Source: 12 months ago
Be careful. A new phishing website has been created, it is a copy of https://pinterest.com. Source: 12 months ago
When I type in certain websites with .com ending, I get redirected to the .dk ending, which is my country's domain ending. I, however, want to stay on the .com website. It is annoying as for example pinterest.dk is down for me, but pinterest.com, pinterest.es etc is working fine. How do I fix that? Source: over 1 year ago
