You can try Zeus. It's somewhere between airbnb and traditional apartment, but requires 30-day minimum stay and you can stay for a year+. There is a background check component, but there's no mention of a credit check. Might be worth checking out. Source: about 2 years ago

Initially I was where are all my discovery playlists etc but I got over that and am loving actually getting back to listening to full albums.
