Hi there, I've tried hosting a server on my computer and then both my Dad and I try to play together. However, it's only worked once or twice when I hosted from playtogether.gg or when it worked once with the zerotier.com method. I've portforwarded, I've made sure both our firewalls were allowing 10578, nothing seems to work. We both have Skyrim Together fully installed on our SSE, and we just want it to work :(... I set up EVE-ng on a google cloud VM. Then immediately the question was how do I get access to the lab equip? I found this video explaining how to set up a virtual nic on the eve-ng VM, connect that to a cloud network in eve-ng, then connect mgmt interfaces from your devices to that. I chose to migrate from openvpn to openconnect because I felt like the performance wasn't very good, I have it running per the wiki, created my own user and everything, my phone works great, I have the routing working for LAN and all. However on my laptop, I can successfully connect but not actually browse to anything. Nothing loads from LAN and external Internet sites take a while to load. I'm using the... Nothing against you but don't use this VPN, it downloads spyware called Umbrella in addition to AnyConnect. Use openconnect-gui instead. Source: almost 4 years ago

I read it's only if your device is listed on RPI's active directory (might be something else) such as library computers. I was connected to eduroam for four days and haven't seen anything downloaded. In addition, if you need to use the VPN download openconnect instead, as Cisco AnyConnect downloads Umbrella which tracks you even after disconnecting the VPN. Source: almost 4 years ago
