  • Upgrading my opnsense setup. Today I am trying to give names to all my devices checking what is connected to my network, need help.
Another way would be to use nmap from a Linux machine or virtual machine using: $ sudo nmap 192.168.0.1/24 where the subnet address is replaced with yours. They have a graphic interface, that I haven't used, but you might want to test it. It's called zenmap https://nmap.org/zenmap/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • What is this eye icon on the taskbar? Never seen it before.
I agree with this but the eye is not exactly the same. https://nmap.org/zenmap/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • SSL / TLS scanning utility (internal) ?

  • If OpenSSL Were a GUI
I... Kind of like it? Not the fact that using such a GUI would be almost impossible, like the humorous example of an "engineer oriented UI" in the Silicon Valley series https://www.reddit.com/r/SiliconValleyHBO/comments/4nvvnl/pied_pipers_easytouse_tools/ which might be confusing for most people. But rather the fact that all of the complexity the software has is laid bare, so that nobody could mistakenly assume... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago

Tabby.sh mentions (17)

  • What kind of applications are missing from the Linux ecosystem?
I've found Tabby does a good job and is Cross-Platform to you can use on Windows too. It can run any installed shell, serial connections and ssh. You can create profiles. It needs some work to be fully functional in Wayland i.e. Autohide feature doesn't work. But that's a graphical issue. Though, if you're just after creating and organising SSH profiles not terminal emulation, Remmina already has you covered.... Source: about 1 year ago

Just in case you didn't know that a project called Tabby exists (it was Terminus). It's a terminal (another one you could say). It's not my project, I'm just a user. https://tabby.sh/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago

You're probably using the default terminal on your operating system so search on google how to get transparency for windows/mac terminal if you find a way use it if not you'll have to use an external terminal that supports transparency one of my favs is tabby - https://tabby.sh/. • Good terminals for Windows?
While Windows Terminal is excellent for most of my purpose (the jumplist integration is unmatched), if you often use it for SSH, try Tabby, it automatically lists the profiles listed in your SSH config so you don't need to manually add yet-another-profile, there's a built-in SFTP integration to quickly upload & download files on the current folder and port forwarding.
