I think Zenfolio https://zenfolio.com is great! You can create a website of your own, as well as have password protected client galleries. It also integrates seamlessly with MPIX and Bay Photo which both have great products! Fair fair. Most of the services have export functions to take your code offline, not sure if Softr does. But anycase, if you don't want to use a no-code web-based builder, then you can try something like Bootstrap Studio to build with Bootstrap CSS.
