Is this dockerized alternative to https://yunohost.org/ ? - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
Yunohost is one of those mature projects, that's fully open source. Source: 5 months ago
YunoHost, although not Docker-based, is still nice and quite mature. Source: 8 months ago
If you want something like that, then CasaOS is pretty great and I can recommend it, especially for a beginner. There is also Cosmos and Tipi. Yunuhost too but a bit different approach. Oh and Umbrel is a thing... Source: 10 months ago
However you quickly reach the limits of what Umbrel can do, its very basic in its abilities. Of course it depends all on what you (or anyone else) wants to do with it. Yunohost is a bit old school, it doesn't use docker. If you're interested in docker + ansible you could also try https://homelabos.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
There's a few good options right now like Nextcloud, ownCloud, Umbrel (if you like crypto), or Yunohost for a self hosted package manager basically, or even HomeLabOS that is the closest to a full stack solution imo. Source: over 1 year ago
Depending on your experience maybe have a look at: https://homelabos.com/. Source: over 2 years ago
It's a collection of Ansible roles & playbooks that facilitates the install and configuration of over 100 different services. If you have basic familiarity with running an Ubuntu server and a desire to self-host your own services, check it out. Source: over 2 years ago
IMO the closest thing to what OP wants to build is HomeLabOS where it's a 'fully fledged platform' with most of the features you'd expect to build yourself from scratch. It's still nowhere near a Linux Distro you can just download that has an Install Wizard to guide you through creating everything that a self hosted network needs & should have though.
