YT Music VS Music Player for Reddit

Is is possible too somehow enable caching for YT Desktop? Both on ytmusic.app as well as YT Music proper I do not see any way to automatically cache songs or even forcefully download them. I am trying to see if this is a useful alternative to Spotify considering I already pay for YT Premium. The lack of smart/auto caching is making the experience feel quite a bit slower though. Hi! I've been trying to login, but couldn't. Tried in different browsers to no avail. When clicking on login button it redirects to authorize the app in Reddit, I click on "Allow", it redirects back to https://reddit.musicplayer.io, but still not logged in. Source: about 1 year ago

r/japanesemusic is a great resource. Every submission is there because a subscriber thought it was fantastic. You can use reddit.musicplayer.io to listen to the whole subreddit as a playlist. It only works for YouTube and SoundCloud links, not Spotify or Bandcamp. Source: almost 2 years ago

I punch genre-specific subs into https://reddit.musicplayer.io/ and just set to play for a while. Soundcloud can be good too but is more manual effort. Subs generally have the advantage that they're a combination of passionate people doing their own searching, and newer artists posting their own work. Source: about 2 years ago
