Top 31 ChatGPT alternatives that will blow your mind in 2023 (Free & Paid)
YouChat's AI uses artificial intelligence and natural language processing to converse like humans. It can respond to general inquiries, translate, summarise text, suggest ideas, write code, and create emails. As it's still in the development stage, it provides average answers.

5 ChatGPT alternatives to try when the AI chatbot is at capacity
Sure, it's not as sleek as ChatGPT, but YouChat has a slimmed down version(Opens in a new tab) of what ChatGPT does. Here's a song I had it write about chicken wings, in the style of the Beatles, for instance. It responded to the prompt pretty much just how ChatGPT probably would.

ChatSonic will cost you a subscription fee,(Opens in a new tab) but it is designed to be a chatbot just like ChatGPT. In fact, its site markets the tool as a better version of ChatGPT. You can get a free trial(Opens in a new tab), but after that it'll cost about $13 bucks per month.

  • You.com Launches YouPro – AI Chatbot with GPT-4 and Stable Diffusion XL
I like you.com, particularly because their LLM tries to quote its sources and fact-checking is much easier. Still, their UX is unusably cluttered[0], which is a shame. Just out of curiosity - could you use this search UI day-to-day? I don't think I could. • ChatGPT Alternative
The title asks about ChatGPT alternatives. Here are some that I've playing with to compare and contrast: https://www.perplexity.ai/ (good at general knowledge) https://www.phind.com/ (failed at coding tasks on more than one occasion) https://chatbot.theb.ai/ (this one seems to be Baidu's answer to ChatGPT). - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago

  • Debunking the Microsoft/OpenAI/Google hype and over-reaction
I agree people are over reacting since new Bing isn't even available to most people yet. They're not even first to put AI into search - https://you.com/search?q=who+are+you&sharedChatId=b7ba11f3-fe8c-4021-98d7-8404283dd272&tbm=youchat. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

  • Will ChatGPT Replace Google Search?
Instead, there's fertile ground for a lot of products that can utilize the power of both technologies to create truly amazing products. There are already some ChatGPT Chrome extensions that integrate with Google search. And then, then there's Chatsonic, a blend of ChatGPT powers, Google Knowledge Graph, and some proprietary AI technology. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Bill Gates says OpenAI’s GPT is the most important advance in technology since 1980
ChatGPT specifically is at a dumb stage. It works so hard to sound smart that it doesn't care enough to actually be smart. ChatGPT 4 will flat out make stuff up to try to please the audience. But versions 5, 6 and beyond will be much better. And there are bots today that do a much better job, like Chatsonic that combines the power of ChatGPT with a custom engine that tries to validate information through Google... • I just got access to Bing's ai and I already hate it. chatGPT is way more thorough. Bing gave up on me almost immediately.
But there are some alternatives, right? I was testing Chatsonic and it works well (but it's limited). In a few days or months, the IA scenario maybe will be completely different. Source: about 1 year ago
  • The three things everyone is complaining about, half solved
The biggest thing people are complaining about is the restrictiveness and its inability to look online. You.com can look online and may be less restrictive (I don't think it's weaker, it just approaches problems with a different angle, so it can't really write long 5 paragraph essays), and you also don't have to log in. Same with https://writesonic.com/chat, however you do have a limit, and I found it's weaker... Source: over 1 year ago
