Any specifics on which games? Does it work on any game? I tested Xonotic on a 144Hz monitor the other day and the highest FPS I got to see was ~90 with no tearing on Kubuntu liveiso but I was using Intel kaby lake integrated graphics, so I assume FreeSync was not at play here, even though the monitor supported it. I got my infinitybook 16 pro performance edition with RTX 3060 and I am pretty happy with it so far. However, I did run into an issue. I want to use PRIME for switchable graphics to not worry about rebooting when I need to switch to battery. However, I noticed that I run into issues when using that. According to alanwake.com Xbox One runs at 900p / 30fps. So better visuals and slightly higher resolution than the original, and the enhanced cinematics. I'm pretty sure the graphics will be noticeably better compared to X360, even if the resolution is lower compared to One X and SX. Source: over 2 years ago
