    You could download an Unigine benchmark. If it runs like crap... You don't have acceleration (should be obvious). Where crap is anything less than 30fps (likely it will be far less). Source: about 1 year ago

    If it's still happening, throw Memtest onto a spare USB, boot to that, and let it run through your RAM for errors. Then check your SSDs (your SSD manufacturer likely has a tool for this). Download and run a GPU benchmark/stress test, Unigine makes a few good ones, MSI Kombustor or Furmark, are good ones that I've used frequently for diagnostic work.
