Yea if you go to wyzant.com and search organic chemistry you'll see a ton of other tutors who already teach that subject, and you can see what rates they charge. Look for someone who has similar experience to you in orgo and plan on charging a little less (since you need to attract your first students). I started years ago using wyzant.com. It was a good start because they do the marketing for you and you can set your own prices. However, they take a pretty large cut. Khanacademy.org is a fantastic resource for math, as well as many other courses. If you have access to the internet, try taking some of the courses there. They mirror what is taught in public schools with classes for all grade levels. There are other resources like edx.org that can provide free courses in topics like computer science and business. The "best" professors/teachers I saw yet, where radiating an exhuberant joy while talking about their topic. It is fun to listen. They where a russian teaching in america who recorded a series about physics for TTC, The Teaching Company. He got voted best professor in america twice.The other one was David Malan of Harvards CS50 on [0]. Beware though, it sadly spoils you for later lectures by others.
