  • M* that are easy to navigate and play, but are rich with features?
    For a real 'ease them into it' experience, there's written realms, which has a lovely modern UI. However, I did find that once you get past the tutorial it's a little confusing/sparse. Similar goes for Genesis - beautifully remade tutorial, great ascii map etc. Extremely old, so a lot of detail, but also a bit overwhelmingly huge and sprawling once you're out there.     Https://writtenrealms.com/ is an attempt at just that, but I personally feel their interface could use some improvements - playing through sub menus suck, and it still require text input for some basic actions in-between, which makes it cumbersome on mobile as it tries to blend both menu gameplay and typing gameplay. It is also very slow to navigate menus and battles etc. The game also runs on community generated... Source: over 1 year ago

  • Any search filters you would like to see MUDstats include?
    Written Realms has a great playable experience in-browser, even on a phone. I'm not sure if there are others with a similar mobile-friendly web client. Having a client-free mobile experience like that is a long term goal of mine for the mud I'm working on, but it is tough on a 25 year old codebase that was designed for telnet. :).
