For longer articles / assignments I use iA writer, it helps me focus a lot, then I copy it into MSWord for final touches - style, font, sources, etc. Source: 5 months ago

I wouldn't recommend it over Logseq unless you need a seriously hyperminimalist text editor that can support a small window size - I use it for creative writing and non-distracting note-taking. But if anyone wants, it's here. Source: over 2 years ago
