I’ve been using iA Writer on a Mac and an iPad for many years, and I think it’s the best app for writing Markdown. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
A few apps that are a joy to use: https://ia.net/writer for writing. https://usecontrast.com/ for checking contrast. https://sipapp.io/ for picking colors. https://nova.app/ for editing code. https://cleanshot.com/ for screenshots. https://getpixelsnap.com/ for measuring elements on screen. https://netnewswire.com/ for reading things via RSS. https://panic.com/transmit/ for file transfers. https://usefathom.com/... - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
For longer articles / assignments I use iA writer, it helps me focus a lot, then I copy it into MSWord for final touches - style, font, sources, etc. Source: 5 months ago

With Remnote, there's no official iOS app yet but you can create, edit and access your notes from any web browser,... Source: about 3 years ago
1Writer does this really well and is pretty easy for non-technical users. Drafts has insanely powerful custom keyboard features, and is generally just a beast of a text editor, but it’s much more complicated and not particularly user friendly for the less geeky crowd. Source: about 3 years ago
