Workmode is a web application. The goal of this app is to help the user find the best place to work from, depending on the location or search query of the user.
Finding a good workplace with a solid download and upload speed in some areas of the world can be tough. Out of this frustration I created Workmode. The initial idea of Workmode is to crowdsource the download speed of workplaces from all over the world, one-speed test at a time. In addition to the internet speed, a questionnaire is also shown in order to review the workability of a workplace. The speed test and questionnaire results are saved and shown to users when they are close by or do a search for the region where the workplace is located.
General information about the listed workplaces is sourced from Google and Foursquare. This information is merged with the crowdsourced data that is submitted by the users of Workmode.

I use it all the time when I'm traveling around. It's a great website to find places to work from. The places are all submitted by the people of the website. People can review places and even do a Wifi speed test and automatically share the results.
Based on our record, Airbnb seems to be a lot more popular than Workmode. While we know about 91 links to Airbnb, we've tracked only 1 mention of Workmode. Mars seemed like an awesome platform for me, but it's just a tool, the same as many others. If I want to build a ToDo list on Mars I need somebody to develop such a micro-app for me. Then I did a simple approximation on bigger products: an e-commerce store like Amazon, service marketplaces like Booksy or Renting platform like Airbnb. - Source: dev.to / 11 months ago
Hey everyone, I'm attending to SPA in July 28-30 this year. And I'm looking for a campsite, most of them are already booked by now. So I've found https://spafamilycamping.com/ I'm wondering if this website and place is legit. They are not on booking.com or airbnb.com and they charge 50€ per night. Source: 11 months ago
Any tips on finding a place to stay, considering everything on booking.com and airbnb.com is either all taken or quite far away. Is there maybe a local website or a motel that isn't on those websites? Source: 12 months ago
I'm in the US and just popped over to airbnb.com to check -- there's a very prominent toggle that says "Display total price: includes all fees, before taxes". Source: about 1 year ago
If you want, you can try using the chrome extension I am developing (its completely free). What it does is it while you are searching through booking.com or airbnb.com it looks for the direct link of the same place. Source: about 1 year ago
