• My iPod wont appear on my desktop, only in finder? (and I need it on desktop)

  None of the iPod models in that video are an iPod touch. You will need to use software like TouchCopy, TunesGo or another similar one to rip your music off the iPod touch. If all the media content was purchased via iTunes you can get it back like this or by authorizing the Mac and transferring the songs via the Music app. Source: over 2 years ago
