I don't think you need to be a holder of both. I put my mom on my Wells Fargo account and she sent to my account. There is also https://wise.com/us/ . This one I have used to send to someones account in Vietnam. It does have slightly higher fee. But it goes straight into their account. Any way to recover corrupted chunks/regions?
After finding that out, I reverted to a backup and Minecraft version where I knew his base existed prior to the update but his region was still reset. This isn't the first time I've had trouble with his base when updating the server but the issue resolved itself in the past after a simple revert.
