WinFBE Reviews

  1. Use of WINFBE for making 32 bit and 64 bit applications

Being frustrated by the replacement of vb6 paradigm with .Net philosophy, total different from the orher, I looked over 20 years a replacement. For a while, worked with brilliant PowerBasic combined with FireFly, but the lack of 64 bit caused by early and regretable loss of Bob , finished the game. Now, FireFly is replaced by WinFbe,like a phoenix bird again and as language is prefered FreeBasic, a good mature 32/64 bit compiler, strong and with same syntax origin like basic used by Microsoft in good times. The combination is awsome, differences are only estetical in comparation with old VB. Winfbe becomes a redutable tool, with online context suggestions, well done and it deserves a look , as an intersting alternative
