There is a great website (wikitree.com) that has a group dedicated to helping resolve NPEs all way back through your tree, as much as they can. Obviously the more recent, the more people tested, and the more accurate/available the public records are the easier it'll be, but you might want to enlist their help. Source: about 1 year ago

I am hoping if anyone can find any proof Jonathan Ferris' wife was Elizabeth Mead that they could show me.
