There is a great website (wikitree.com) that has a group dedicated to helping resolve NPEs all way back through your tree, as much as they can. Obviously the more recent, the more people tested, and the more accurate/available the public records are the easier it'll be, but you might want to enlist their help. Source: about 1 year ago

I am hoping if anyone can find any proof Jonathan Ferris' wife was Elizabeth Mead that they could show me. Many public family trees including wikitree.com (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Ferris-1017) claim his wife was a Elizabeth Mead. He is one of the possibilities I am nulling through to be the father of Haviland Ferris born 1790s. If Jonathan Ferris' wife is not Elizabeth Mead I think it could of been somebody... Have you uploaded to GEDMATCH.com ?, Make sure you opt out of the police search if thats not your thing. FamilyTreeDNA and myHeritage sometimes allow free uploads. You can also add your family tree to wikitree.com . When you get some feel for your dna matches then DNA painter has free offers. Source: over 2 years ago
Use the simulations from here: https://phet.colorado.edu/ to make correlations of Physics with real life concepts. After you run through each simulation, make notes on your ipad/laptop/or on a piece of paper with a diagram and everything and try to notice what happens when you change certain variables. i.e. How the cross sectional area of a coil may affect the resistivity of the wire.
