  I see people on this subreddit talking about figuring out the day before which city to drive to based on cloud coverage, but I'm confused how that works. Are the weather predictions for different nearby cities that accurate that you will know which cities will be cloudy vs. clear?   Really didn’t use the faders that much while laying down keys. I add most of my effects and expressions in post (velocity and phasers etc). I use Logic but I’m sure your workflow and approach is different regardless of the DAW in question. I do use the hell out of the faders and knobs on my MPD32 drum pad when I DJ, the program I use is Traktor by Native Instruments. It really depends on your application, live...
