I use Automate the boring stuff (book) as a base for learning Python basics and supplement it by googling concepts/syntax I don't fully understand or would like to know more about. I practice a lot by doing coding exercises (i. e. w3resource.com has exercises with solutions, but I also google other ways of solving a problem), and I try to have a solid grip on the concept I'm learning before moving on to another. Approximately 3 years ago I started doing a front-end development course on teamtreehouse.com wich was pretty good but was like 20 dollars a month.( so I dont really recommend it ) quite expensive. This got me an internship at a friends company.
