  • Do you think Funimation and Crunchyroll will be combine as one site, if so what do you think they will name the new site?
VRV was a US-exclusive streaming service owned/run by Crunchyroll, and therefore it was also acquired by Funimation as part of their recent acquisition. When VRV originally launched in 2017, both Crunchyroll and Funimation were available on it, but in 2018, Funimation pulled out of the service and HiDive took its place. But HiDive is leaving the service at the end of this month, which means either Funimation is... - Source: Reddit / 28 days ago

  • Is Crunchyroll premium worth it?
However, if you're in the United States where it's available, it's much better to subscribe to VRV instead. VRV gets you all of the features of Crunchyroll premium plus the bonus of HiDive's entire anime library, and it's only $2 more per month than Crunchyroll (while HiDive by itself normally costs $5 a month) so it's a fantastic deal. There's no good reason to subscribe to Crunchyroll by itself if VRV is an option. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • Where is the best place to stream more or lesser known oldschool anime? 1999 and older.
Nope. Crunchyroll and Funimation get most new shows but generally split the lot, both have sizable back catalogs as well though. HIDIVE has some as well (particularly older mecha series) and VRV combines the libraries of Crunchyroll and HIDIVE. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago

  • Films
For now I'm just going to list some of what I've got on my Tubi watch list, since these are all free to watch. These range from great (per the genre at any rate) to pretty damn campy. - Source: Reddit / 2 days ago
  • Netflix hikes NZ prices significantly for second time in just over two years
Disney is worth it for The Simpsons alone. I got Netflix for the kid's school holidays after abandoning it a year ago only to find a weird over-hyped ultra-violent South Korean show is apparently the best thing they have to offer now. I can still find so much more to watch on the free Tubi streaming service. - Source: Reddit / 12 days ago
  • Now Requiring Accounts?
It doesn't. When you go to you can go on any of their links or go to Browse and search, and whatever you click on will play instantly. I am neither registered nor signed in. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago

  • How to start getting into Transformers?
If you want a rundown on various characters and ideas and such, Chris McFeely's Transformers: The Basics YouTube series is amazing. Also, almost all of the Transformers cartoons are available for free on Tubi. I would recommend Transformers Animated and Beast Wars in particular. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
