VR Sketch mentions (3)

  • What's the most straightforward HW/SW setup towards marketing/industrial use?
If I needed to do this I think I would use a Sketchup plugin: https://vrsketch.eu/. Source: about 2 years ago
  • What's the best app for home renovation?
Https://vrsketch.eu <-- this is the link - when I click my link above it seems to point to the wrong site still. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Is there any good 3d designing apps for quest 3?
Depends on what you mean. There's some 3D modeling programs directly for the quest, but if you're wanting something like a CAD software, I don't think there's anything quite on that level. Closest to that would be if you were using PCVR, then there's VRSketch that's an extension for Sketchup that lets you build in VR. Source: almost 3 years ago

Lasergist mentions (2)

  • Looking for online laser cutting/engraving services
Is there something like https://lasergist.com/ here in Japan? I want to have aluminum or steel front panels made for my DIY synths, with engraving for the legend. Source: about 4 years ago
  • Users or companies that can do small quantity manufacturing of plates
There are some online services like ponoko, lasertaile, lasergist, laserboost, 3dhubs, but you better look for a local company in your vicinity. Really, a lot of different businesses do laser cutting from small marketing companies to huge car manufacturers. Even I've found some in my shitty town in the middle of nowhere.
