I'll be visiting Paris during spring break and during the middle (March 15) of my week long stay I wanted to take a train to Brussels and spend a night there. I read that the best way to get a cheap price on a train ticket is to book as early as possible which is usually 3 months ahead. There are direct trains from the airport to Grenoble: you can check the schedules and book a ticket in advance from https://en.oui.sncf/en/. Keep in mind the airport station is "Lyon Saint-Exupéry". Source: over 3 years ago

I find the third-party app Öffi to have a far superior UX than any official app and it attempts to support as many transportation systems (mainly in German-speaking countries) as possible. That's just for route planning/departures/maps though. In the VBB area it can tell you which ticket to buy, but you can't buy it through the app (you need to use official apps or the vending machines for this). Source: over 2 years ago
