I use virtualpostmail.com to receive all my physical mail in the USA. There might be a very rare instance where an institution would demand a residential address and you either ditch them or make sure you can have a separate mailing address on file and give them a family or past address as the residential (since any mail they send will go to your mailing address anyway). Virtualpostmail.com has been working well for me the past year. I'm able to use the address for all my banks/brokers with the exception of Schwab. Source: over 1 year ago
I have a PMB (I've tried https://virtualpostmail.com/ and https://earthclassmail.com/) and never receive any junk mail. They either scan your mail to PDF, or forward it to another address. But for some reason which I don't understand, marketers don't send junk mail to PMBs. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
I use virtualpostmail.com to get mail, you might consider getting a US P.O. Box. If you have an American accent and are a US citizen, aside from the time difference you could probably just say you're wherever the PO Box is. Source: over 2 years ago
Also I would highly advice to keep a US mail address, you would need that for bank and future social security disbursements. We got our US mail address through: virtualpostmail.com. It's 30$/month but we don't regret it. It came in quite handy for numerous purposes. Source: almost 3 years ago
Paperless-ngx is the successor to the original Paperless & Paperless-ng projects, both of which are now in public archive. The original projects are not dead, but rather, continued through the open source community! - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago

Paperless-ng / paperless-ngx has been nice for storing PDFs. I'll probably throw this year's documents into that as well. Source: over 1 year ago
A SaaS for managing personal documents. The closest I have right now (not SaaS) is paperless-ng[0], but I have to self-host it, unless I missed a really compelling solution. I have a sea of documents, both physical and electronic, and it's always a struggle to scan/organize/find them. I'd pay good money for a software/service that manages my documents, from scanning to archiving. [0] - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
If it's a PDF manual then I prefer paperless-ng or paperless-ngx. Then it's searchable and you can filter by 'correspondent' which I normally put down as the manufacturer, label is as a technical manual, etc. Source: over 1 year ago
