Video Duplicate Finder VS dupeGuru

I've been trying for a bit now to get Video Duplicate Finder from GitHub to run without success. Source: 5 months ago

Ooh this looks nice. And might replace at least 2 tools. For video comparison I currently use Video Duplicate Finder which has a few features this doesn't. Under settings it lets you check Ignore White Pixels and Ignore Black Pixels which helps lower false positives on videos with lots of white/black backgrounds or keyframes. I used to use DupeGuru which has some photo-specific dupe detection where you can fuzzy match image dupes based on content: https://dupeguru.voltaicideas.net/ But I switched over to czkawka, which has a better interface for comparing files, and seems to be a bit faster: https://github.com/qarmin/czkawka. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago

If your photos are exact duplicates you can also use the freeware dupeGuru app. Source: 10 months ago
