If you go to ventusky.com it will show you the weather day by day for the last 40 years. I checked the infamous Patagonia winds and found there doesn't seem to be a way to avoid them. I always check ventusky.com for local weather conditions. Wind gusts or in this case , a snow storm to the west and freezing temperatures.
