PHP, thanks to Laravel and Symfony is thriving nowadays, especially within startup communities and not only. Yes, it's still a good choice, but you have to build yourself a nice resume with multiple projects to present yourself. I have noticed more and more companies are not advertising the traditional way, but do so via their own websites. I am using uppbeat.io and they issue individual license to each download of any songs so no copyright issue. They have a free plan with 3 download per month. I am on their Premium subscription plan which is a lot cheaper than Epidemic sound. Source: about 1 year ago
I make a lot of music, much of which sits on a hard drive. I'm interested in giving away music to creators to use. Anyone in the sub have experience with uppbeat? Suggestions for other platforms that are similar? Just discovered and looking for advice. Thanks. https://uppbeat.io/. Source: about 1 year ago

Hey. A good source for free sound effects and sounds in general is the site freesound.org. Jsyk you will need a looot of sounds for this animation. Slashes, wooshes and hit sounds are some of the sounds you will need. Try typing the sound you think you need and maybe you will find something interesting. Source: 6 months ago
There are several free orchestral sample libraries, but usually for some garbage player like Kontakt, and sax often doesn't get included, so if you need free and VST-less, then hunting on sites like freesound.org and similar might be your best bet. Source: 6 months ago
