I also had the same issue. On Nov 25 last year, they posted that source.unsplash.com was being depreciated and replaced with an API: https://changelog.unsplash.com/deprecations/2021/11/25/source-deprecation.html. As for unsplash they opened their api for low traffic use. It's pretty nice to add a collection or pictures you like on a rotation. I've discovered though that what they call id is divided into 2 types: numerical and alpha numerical. The alpha numerical id don't really work. Anyway you should check their website Here. However, all of the things you ask are possible--access to your client's assets, buy your own and bill them, source free images. shutterstock.com is one of my favorites. I was searching for free/royalty free images endlessly until I just bought a monthly subscription. The time savings makes up for the time spent scouring the internet. Good luck and have fun!...
