ASCII isn't the only encoding method. You're looking at unicode characters, which can be expressed as numbers just like ASCII characters based on the encoding system . When you refer to something as an “Emoji” you indicate that they’re apart of the Unicode language. What Reddit is doing is not considered apart of unicode therefore not technically an “Emoji”, instead it’s just a plain old image used in text format. Source: over 1 year ago

Not what you’re asking for but I paid for pastebot a long time ago and it’s grand. My one request to them was “can you let me edit the clipping” and they haven’t done it yet. But, I installed Tot and I use that to paste into and edit the text. Magic for me was setting the global pop-up shortcut to CMD - . ( period ) ( which, for me, was the best thing about Raycast ).
