OpenBravo POS used to be ok, it even worked with barcode readers. But you could also manually punch up a sales receipt and it would adjust on hand numbers automatically. But Open Bravo has moved on to a cloud paid model. However there a few forks from the before time, like Unicenta, but I've never used that one and can only vouch for what it was back in the day. I would recommend going with https://opensourcepos.org/ or https://unicenta.com/. Source: almost 3 years ago
Unicenta works pretty well on a POS that I salvaged from a shop closure last year (no reason for doing so - just thought it would be cool to have one for the hell of it). Runs on Linux as well as Windows if you want to escape Windows Embedded 7. Source: almost 3 years ago
Looks like Unicenta is an alternative POS that can be self-hosted and is licensed as GPL-3.0-or-later. Source: about 3 years ago
I've been on the hunt for two items (hi top shoes) and I've discovered them on Vinted.fr however when I tried to make an account to ship to the UK, it's not possible. When I buy things from the USA, I tend to use myus.com as a parcel forwarder but I can't really find a like for like (one that'll repack into one parcel instead of two shipments). Try backmarket.com & newegg.com have shopped there severally then use myus.com or savostore.com for shipping. Source: about 1 year ago
I need a UK address for a game, so I am looking into freight forwarding. I was able to create one on myus.com but I don't understand how the package actually gets to me when they don't have my address. Source: over 1 year ago
I get it, I live in a remote part of the world too but I use mail forwarding services in the US to get my tech shipped air freighted. Check out myus.com. Only thing you have to be wary of is customs vat in your country. Source: over 1 year ago
Order them online from greeneking.co.uk, and use a 3rd party reshipping service. I've used myus.com to order stuff from the US to the UK, and I think they do UK to US too. No clue if they're the best or the cheapest, but it worked for me. Very simple, you just set everything up with the reshipping company in advance, and then it's as easy as ordering directly to your real address. Source: over 1 year ago
