They’re good courses. While you’re here you should check out Blue Ribbon. It’s in East Bethel, but it was built by a landscaping company and is pretty amazing. Everything is on UDisc if you have the app. Source: 11 months ago
Thanks for the recommendation. I just checked it out on udisc.com and it looks great. Convenient for me as I can get on 64 quickly. Source: about 1 year ago
Once you know what route you are going to take, use Udisc (udisc.com if you don't have the app) to look for courses along the way. I drive from Missoula to Michigan multiple times every year and can often find new courses to play during the drive. Source: about 1 year ago
It's great! Give it a try. What's the brand of the discs you saw? If it's one of the main brands they'll work great. I've never heard of a basket costing $25 so that's weird. Not sure what's up with that. I'd just get a starter pack of 3 or 4 discs that most of the companies sell and find a nearby course and have fun. Download the udisc app or go to udisc.com to find courses. Source: about 1 year ago
Disc golf is a hoot if you have a course at one of those parks. Lots of built-in comedy. Source: about 1 year ago
If you go to dgcoursereview you can search where you live and it'll give you all the results organized by distance from you. It shows # of holes, course ratings, and tons of personal reviews. Source: over 1 year ago
Have you tried the search function on the sub? Have you checked dgcoursereview.com or uDisc? Source: almost 2 years ago
Have you looked at dgcoursereview.com? You can just pull up the map and see where the nearest courses are. Source: almost 2 years ago
If you stood on whatever was connecting the tree to dry land, is it firm or just loose/floating on the water? I took a look at the tee sign on 4 on dgcoursereview.com, anything beyond the perimeter of the water is OB, so I'd consider whether that's dry land or just a tree that you can stand on. Check out dgcoursereview.com as a good resource to find courses and to get logistical info on the course (course map, directions, special instructions). And have a blast out there! Often you can just join up with other folks there, especially if you say you're new and could use some help. Some courses are easy to navigate hole-to-hole than others. Source: about 2 years ago
