   Simplicity and elegance

   It is very well built with simplicity in mind. There are several themes and all of them look amazing. I love the "typewriter" and "focus" mode. In contrast with other apps that focus the current window and remove all visibility options, Typora goes one step ahead and fades down all other paragraphs as well.

  Evernote was ok for a little bit, but the only thing it really did for me was search... Once I realized that I switched tactics. I organized my life into domains, and got okay at using grep to replace it. My saving grace that I would pay twice for is https://typora.io.   Copy the whole document, and insert it into TED Notepad - now it's only a question of a few keystrokes before you have extracted all words and made an alphabetized list showing the number of times each word appear. (word frequency) This is also a great way to catch alternate spellings which your spell-checker might not flag.
