   Simplicity and elegance

   It is very well built with simplicity in mind. There are several themes and all of them look amazing. I love the "typewriter" and "focus" mode. In contrast with other apps that focus the current window and remove all visibility options, Typora goes one step ahead and fades down all other paragraphs as well.

  Evernote was ok for a little bit, but the only thing it really did for me was search... Once I realized that I switched tactics. I organized my life into domains, and got okay at using grep to replace it. My saving grace that I would pay twice for is https://typora.io.   Slightly late response, but I'm working on one, with a particular focus on tablet input: notekit. There isn't quite feature parity with Typora since using native instead of HTML-based rendering makes things like tables hard and many aspects of it are still work in progress in general, but several people (including myself) do already use it on a daily basis.
