Tyke (Free) Not a trike but a tyke! (I'm so sorry)... A little bit of scratch paper 📝 that lives on your Mac menu bar. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Quick notes or extension? (Or: Tyke for Linux?)
I'm moving to Linux/Gnome from macOS. There is a little app for Apple's OS that I use a lot: Tyke. It's utterly simple, basically an icon on menubar that holds a text field where I can't type or paste anything I want in plain text. When I reboot the system, it vanishes. Source: over 2 years ago

  • Macbook for programming/coding
Pretty much a premium linux experience out of the box, also things like Quicklook make it easy to instantaneously view a ton of files without even opening apps from documents to media files. Especially helpful if you're going through documentation and typically there's a bunch of it in various formats. Without Quicklook, you would have to open a bunch of MS Office apps to view documentation that comes with large... Source: about 2 years ago

Hm, no, I am not aware of any feature of that kind being developed by anyone. I have found this https://slidepad.app/ but it's only kind of what you want and MacOS only... Source: about 2 years ago
