Tried Elisa (v22.04.1) under Windows 10 and three mainstream Linux distros (on an i5 3.4GHz with 16GB RAM) and was shocked how slow and clunky the app was. Admitted, my library contains more than 70,600 titles but having to wait 8:30 minutes each time to open the album view, only to lose all that again when switching to an artist view (artist with ONE album, again 3:10 waiting) is absolutely pathetic. Under Linux the waiting was a little shorter, however the app soon started to confuse artist entries (clicking on an artist in the list sent you to some other artist three or four entries down the list). There is no excuse for such shoddy coding, even much older apps I tested can easily (and quickly) cope with my library without problems. Buggy, klunky software is the main reason I stay away from KDE and Elisa being their default KDE muslib app confirms my point of view, and then some.
