On a long drive I also usually plan my stops - with a few backup options in either direction in case I don’t feel ready to stop or need to sooner. I also usually plan my segments in decreasing length to accommodate getting tired and/or bored faster as time passes. As far as enjoying the journey...What are you into? I like photograph, hiking, enjoy factory tours, and love eating.
