  Get a VPN like Windscribe(set windscribe firewall to on instead of auto), forward your port via their website. Use a good torrent client like https://transmissionbt.com/ set that port in the options, and add a blocklist https://github.com/Naunter/BT\_BlockLists/raw/master/bt\_blocklists.gz.   I use FreeTube also. This is what I am using on my Mac. They have the app for Windows, MacOSx64, and various Linux OSs. No app for iOSs but maybe if we support him he may want to go further.
